Writing has been always something a little bit difficult since I was at school and it has changed being at the university. As a writer I’ve had experiences that go from the absolutely absence of knowledge about writing to a better understanding about this art.
When I was a girl of 12 years in 6th grade the teachers I had at that time were trying to make students write a biography of their lives, as the result of the Spanish project for the first period. When I started to write I noticed I didn't have any idea of how to write a text and not less how to write a biography, so I just did what I considered as a biography and it was just retelling important aspects of my life but with any reflection on it.
After that in 11th grade I had to write my accounting graduation project, and it was a different experience for me because it involved research and writing at the same time about an interesting topic, but a complicated one, and it got worse due to the lack of knowledge about how to write. Let say I was writing just because, but not with clear steps on the field.
But now at the university I’ve got different experience about writing in different fields of knowledge, and I become aware of details when writing for example, structure, vocabulary development of ideas etc.
If I would have to write again the texts I wrote at school, I’m sure those text will have more than letters on it.
