Is an Educational reform in our country possible?

Recently, thousands of Chilean students marched with purpose of obtaining public education system. The Chilean current system means social inequality for those citizens and their families. They need to pay in many cases three times more for the studies of their children to institutions like Icetex here. That is the same situation for us, for example, our government obtains too many taxes with natural sources like coal mines. It is known that in Colombia there are many coal mines that are exploited by foreign companies that don't pay taxes for it, and obviously it means that educational, health and other systems or institutions don't receive enough to develop their programs and cover our necessities.

Of course, it is possible an educational reform in our country. Education is a right for all. We need to fight against a government that pretends to give us public education without academic quality and free. The currently neoliberal policies are designed to shape student’s mind to a capitalist model, it means, students will be focus in the companies’ necessities and interests. It even supposed to be restricted to choose or to follow our vocation. Students with few economic resources would be like robots to an exclusive and classist government.
